Dancer Set For Double Bid

Exotic Dancer will attempt to complete a famous Cheltenham double on Saturday.

The Jonjo O'Neill-trained six-year-old goes for the boylesports.com Gold Cup four weeks after his win in the Paddy Power Gold Cup.

'Exotic Dancer will definitely run, that's for sure' said Barry Simpson, racing manager to owner Sir Robert Ogden.

'He has come out his last race very, very well and Jonjo is really pleased with him.

'He's in good form and I can't see any reason why he won't go,' Simpson told At The Races.

Exotic Dancer currently has 11st 4lb to carry in the valuable handicap chase over two miles and five furlongs

The owner has a possible second string to his bow in Calling Brave, trained by Nicky Henderson.

The 10-year-old, last seen finishing a distant seventh in the Betfred Gold Cup at Sandown in April, is towards the bottom of the handicap on 10st 3lb.

'Calling Brave has been a little slow to get going this season,' Simpson went on.

'He didn't come back from Sir Robert's until quite late so this would be his first run.

'He's dropped down the weights a bit and he will interesting when he gets going.

'We will probably confirm him tomorrow, then have a look at the race.

'He had a wind operation in the summer but it was minor.'
