Henry de Bromhead could be set for a good day at his local track on Thursday when he sends a strong team to Tramore.

The Knockeen handler gives Mullinavat another go over timber in the two-mile handicap hurdle on the card after his impressive demolition job over fences at the course on his last outing.

The Beneficial gelding posted a 21-length win over Penny Jane in a rated novice chase at the south-east venue in August and the form has been franked by the runner-up since.

There is now a disparity of 32lb between the eight-year-old's ratings over hurdles and fences and he tries to take advantage of that again.

On his previous attempt over hurdles, he was unlucky to stumble and fall four from home in Cork and was runner-up over timber here back in June.

It's no surprise to see connections give him another shot over the smaller obstacles again and while he certainly looks a better chaser, there has to be scope to grab a win over hurdles off this mark.

Silent Sun, who was in good form during the summer, and Tintown Robin, who returns having performed well in the spring, look obvious rivals in the 80-95 contest.

De Bromhead saddles two in the two-mile-five-furlong maiden hurdle and Aherlow appears the main hope having been runner-up on his last two outings.

The Oscar gelding proved no match for Turbojet in very testing conditions at Listowel but with an official mark of 111, he looks the one to beat now against lesser company.

Storm Racer is an interesting contender for the yard in the two-mile-five-furlong handicap hurdle as he makes his first start in handicap company.

The German-bred showed glimpses of ability in some decent maidens and is now fitted with cheekpieces for the first time.

Little Folke won her maiden hurdle at the track back in April and goes over fences for the first time in the rated novice chase.

She looks well suited by conditions, having a hurdles rating of 108, and traditionally runners from her yard tend to improve when sent chasing.

Double Cross will be expected to collect in the beginners' chase on the card where he sets a good standard.

He ran with credit when fourth in handicap company at Kilbeggan back in May and off a rating of 118, looks clear best in the two-mile-six-furlong contest.
