Gavin Cromwell's Dha Leath won at Listed level for the first time at Pontefract today.

The five-year-old mare was held up over the extended mile and came through with her challenge approaching the final furlong.

PJ McDonald conjured up a strong finish as the 9/1 shot got up close home to score at 9/1.

Andrew Kinirons also sent over Mary Salome who finished eighth at 50/1.

Cromwell's Earls took third place in the following race on the card, the six-furlong handicap for three-year-olds plus.
