Donnelly eyes Galway return for Plough Boy Garvan Donnelly is looking forward to running the in-form Plough Boy at the Galway Festival. The six-year-old gelding has performed with credit on his two previous visits to Ballybrit, when pipped by a short head two years ago and in fifth last year after the ground had gone against him. The eight-time winner caught the eye when a close third in two handicaps at the Curragh earlier this month. "He will have Galway as his goal - he will probably run on the Tuesday in the seven-furlong handicap and he'll have an entry over seven furlongs on the Sunday as well," the County Dublin trainer said. "He is in really good form and should be competitive off a mark of 80. He wasn't beaten far in fifth last year (off 79) when the rain came and turned the ground yielding to soft. "He's a real top of the ground horse."
