Horse Racing Ireland tweeted: "Down Royal to hold 8am track inspection tomorrow ahead of Saturday fixture following 25 millimetres of rain and further rain forecast." A total of 32 millimetres of rain is reported to have fallen in the past 24 hours at Wexford and with further rain a possibility over the next two days, the fixture hinges on an 8.30am check. The track is currently fit for action, although the ground is heavy.
