On an unusually quiet weekend for Irish racing as everyone takes a collective breath before the seven-day Festival at Ballybrit, Wexford hosts the only action this afternoon with the first of a seven-race Flat card getting underway at 2.15pm.

Following a dry night, the going remains good to firm (good in places) and the track is currently being aerated.

Meanwhile the latest update from Galway describes the ground as follows; Flat course is yielding (good to yielding in places), Hurdle course is good (good to yielding in places) and the Chase course is good (good to firm in places).
