< Indian Landing demolished the opposition in the Dundalk Stadium Light Up Your Night Handicap as the all-weather course opened its programme for 2015.

Sent off the 7-4 favourite after being caught close home on his last visit to the track in November, the Tracey Collins-trained seven-year-old looked the likely winner some way out as Michael Hussey was still travelling sweetly when the in-form Twistsandturns struck for home.

Taking it up a furlong out, Indian Landing stretched easily clear and was untroubled as he passed the post with a length and a quarter to spare.

Tommy Stack's lightly raced filly Robin's Choice got off the mark at the fifth attempt as she took the one-mile Fundraising Made Easy At Dundalk Stadium Maiden in the hands of Billy Lee.

The 7-1 chance broke quickly and was then given a nice lead by Mysticaltou before regaining the advantage inside the final quarter-mile and comfortably holding the charge of winning hurdler Captain Carleton by a length and a quarter.

Robbie Downey led going to the furlong pole on Sister Slew in the Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay Handicap and Shane Nolan's 6-1 shot, wearing blinkers for the first time and having slipped down the ratings, ran on well to hold Basilica by half a length.

Donnacha O'Brien was the first of the Ballydoyle clan to get off the mark for the year when he drove Andrew Slattery's 13-2 shot Sharjah ahead a furlong and a half out in the Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk Handicap and kept him going to score by half a length.

Donagh O'Connor broke smartly on Your Pal Tal and held a prominent position throughout before leading inside the final furlong on the Johnny Levins-trained 10-3 chance to land the www.dundalkstadium.com Handicap by a length and three-quarters.

The Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey & Trainer Championship Handicap went to Ronan Whelan on the Jane Foley-trained Bomber Jackson (8-1), who got the better of a sustained duel with Pepparpot to pass the post a head in front.
