It was a great night for the British raiders at Dundalk, and Watersmeet showed tenacity so typical of a Mark Johnston inmate in the Coral.ie Race.

Joe Fanning dictated terms to suit himself on the 10-11 favourite, but he was challenged and maybe even headed by Political Policy and Mandatario over a furlong out.

The grey really responded to Fanning's urgings, though, and fought hard to get back up by half a length from Political Policy.

Sir Mark Prescott is selective with the horses he brings to Dundalk but his record is excellent and Bear Faced enhanced it in the Big Bad Bob Race.

Leading until headed after a furlong by Helvic the 7-4 chance took up the running again at the top of the straight and although favourite Clear Cut tried to go with him, Bear Faced had too many guns and triumphed by two and a quarter lengths.< Kasbah returned with an impressive success in the Best Price Guaranteed On All Irish Racing At Coral.ie Handicap.

Off since making a successful raid on Wolverhampton and burdened with top weight of 10st, the well-supported 3-1 chance cruised up the inside to hit the front halfway down the straight and scored a shade cosier than the half-length back to runner-up Go Kart suggests.< Poetic Choice (8-1) gained just reward for her recent consistency, registering her first victory on Irish soil in the Bet 5 Get 20 In Free Bets At Coral.ie Handicap by a length and a quarter, at the chief expense of Rose Angel < Drillmaster finished over the top of the leaders in the dying strides of the Get 10-1 On Conor McGregor To Win At Coral.ie Handicap to score at 7-1, while Lusis Naturea (11-2) followed up his win of last week in the Bet Now On Every Cheltenham Race At Coral.ie Handicap.
