Eddery Set For Wolves Bow Pat Eddery is set to saddle the first competitive entry of his new training career at Wolverhampton on Saturday evening. Just two months after being granted his license, Eddery is hoping three-year-old maiden Perez, who has a choice of two engagements, can get him off to a flying start at Dunstall Park. “I´m thrilled I am about to have my first runner as a trainer and can´t wait for Saturday,” the former 11-time champion jockey told the Racing Post. “I´m really looking forward to it and would like to thank all the syndicate people for their faith in me.” On Perez´s chances, Eddery added: “The horse has been off for 16 months and it would be lovely to reward the owners, the Golden Fleece Syndicate, for their patience. “I´m hopeful he will run a nice race.”?
