Elliott on weather watch with Apple's Jade Trainer Gordon Elliott will wait until Saturday before making a final decision on the participation of his Apple’s Jade in Sunday’s Grade 1 Hattons Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse. Last season’s top juvenile Apple’s Jade was beaten a nose in last Saturday’s Grade 1 Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle and is one of seven horses declared for Sunday’s top level race. Elliott, who famously landed a six-timer last Sunday at Navan, today said "we have loads of runners (at the weekend) - she is declared anyway but we'll see what way the ground is tomorrow. "We won't want it too dry but she seems to be in good form and came out of the race well so we'll see what happens." By Tom Weekes
