Gordon Elliott is set to have four runners in the feature event at the Listowel Harvest Festival, the Guinness Kerry National.

Gigginstown pair Conflated and Farclas are towards the head of the ante-post market for the €150,000 contest.

They are set to be joined in the three-miler by the JP McManus-owned duo Aramax and The Big Lense, who finished third and sixth respectively in the Galway Blazers.

Conflated, a Grade 3 winning novice chaser last season, tuned up for his visit to Listowel with a spin on the Flat at Gowran earlier this month.

Farclas will be making his first start since finishing fifth behind Minella Times in the Grand National at Aintree in April.

“We'll have a good team in it,” said Elliott.

“Aramax ran well in the Galway Blazers as did the Big Lense.

“Conflated is a graded horse running in a handicap, it takes that type of horse to win the race and he ticks a lot of boxes.

“He has good novice form, he's a bit hot and cold but he's in good form at home at the moment. He loves going left-handed and I think the race will suit him.

“Farclas has loads of experience, he's run in the English National and everything, and you need that for those races.

“There are four horses and every one of them has a chance. It's a very open race and if I had to pick one I'd probably go with the unexposed horse Conflated.”
