Gordon Elliott has warned that he won't run any of his horses today at Down Royal unless he is happy with ground conditions.

The going is reported this morning to be good on both tracks after a dry night and watering.

It is set to be a dry day with sunny spells this afternoon.

Elliott withdrew six horses due to the change in going on Friday's card and was critical of the ground on the first day.

When asked if he would prefer a bit of juice for Romeo Coolio in the Grade 1 BetVictor Champion Chase, he said yesterday:

"Everyone does, but they said they are going watering tonight, so please God he will be okay.

"He is in good form, but he will come on for the run.

"We probably need to find out where we are going (trip-wise), we are a little bit up in the air.

"We won't take any chances - if the ground isn't right, we won't be running any horses."
