What a run Robyn Donaghue-Leahy is on at the moment and she made it four wins on the spin at Dundalk when Not Just Any Eagle (8/1) took the concluding mile-and-a-half handicap.

There wasn't much pace on early and Donaghue-Leahy allowed the seven-year-old to slide forward as they raced away from the stands and positioned him on the girths of Sunrush , on which Andrew Slattery was ‘walking the dog' in front.

When the pace increased early in the straight, nothing could land a blow from behind and it was Not Just Any Eagle who led in the closing stages to thwart Sunrush by a head.

It was a double for the rider and trainer Pat Flynn after Jordan Breeze in the second, and the pair had been successful at recent meetings here with Carrigans Grove and Gallo Dell Cielo respectively.

“I'm delighted. Every time he wins, I can't give him enough praise, he's a super horse,” said Donaghue-Leahy.

“I've won six on him now and he has won nearly 100 grand in prize money. He's just very, very tough.

“Slattery's horse travelled into it a lot better. Even out of the stalls, I thought we were a little outpaced.

“He had been running over staying trips and back in trip tonight, it probably just caught him off guard a little bit. He battled the whole way.

“That's my second double and he was actually part of my first as well. He's an old legend.

“We've had four winners now in the last week. Two today, one Wednesday and one last Friday. You couldn't get any better.”
