Enright lands a double as Another Challenge wins well Phillip Enright added to his earlier handicap hurdle win on She’ll Be Kept as the Oliver McKiernan-trained Another Challenge recorded an easy win of his own in the Kepak Handicap Chase. The 7/1 chance was well on top between the final two fences and was eased inside the final 50 yards to beat 100/30 favourite Ladies Well by seven lengths, completing a 71/1 double for the Kerry jockey. “The horse has been a bit disappointing up until now, until he started jumping fences,” said McKiernan. “I was talking to Jimmy Mangan the other evening and he said to me that with this pedigree you normally see the best of these horses when they jump fences. “I said ‘I hope you’re right Jimmy’ and he proved it this evening. “He gave an exhibition of jumping; I couldn’t believe it. When he gave him a squeeze at the last, he went on fairly quickly. It’s great to get him going. “He likes the ground and Phillip took the wider track for the slightly better ground. “We’ve no plans, we’re delighted to win this.”
