Excuse Eclipse decision in morning A decision on the participation of No Excuse Needed in tomorrow`s Coral Eurobet Eclipse Stakes will not be made until the morning.Connections have expressed their concerns over underfoot conditions at Sandown Park ahead of the £325,000 with the Sir Michael Stoute-trained Machiavellian colt thought to be much more effective on quick ground.Persistent rain has left the going at the Esher track as good to soft, good in places on the Eclipse course.Joe Mercer, racing manager to owner Maktoum Al Maktoum, said this afternoon: 'I`ve just spoken to Michael Stoute and we`re just waiting to see what happens tonight.'We won`t make our minds up now, we`ll make our minds up tomorrow.'Stoute had stated at Thursday`s final declaration stage that the horse would not run if there was further rain. One horse who is a definite runner is David Elsworth`s Indian Creek.Richard Quinn takes the mount on the Prince Of Wales`s Stakes runner-up and he told attheraces: 'David saidhe didn`t have a good preparation towards the (Ascot) race but that said he probably ran the best race of his life there.'He`s a funny horse in that at the beginning of the race he never seems to take hold of his bridle and you have to be pushing away, then all of a sudden he comes good for you.'Ground conditions are not a concern for the Indian Creek team following the horse`s effort when third to Nayef in the Dubai Champion Stakes on good to soft ground last season.Quinn added: 'He surprised us by running so well in the Champion Stakes last year on easy ground so he`s got every chance.'He goes on the ground and has got Group One form on soft ground.'
