Extra meeting at Punchestown next month HRI has announced that there will be an additional fixture at Punchestown on Tuesday (evening), 8th May to form a two day meeting with their existing card on Wednesday (evening) 9th May. Following the cancellation of nine races from the Irish National Hunt Festival meeting this week due to the inclement weather, HRI has granted Punchestown an additional fixture on Tuesday (evening) 8th May in order to preserve the opportunities that have been lost. This will also entail some changes to the race programme for the existing Punchestown fixture on Wednesday evening 9th May. The full programme for the two days will be published early next week and entries will close by 12 noon on Thursday 3rd May for both fixtures.
