Noel Meade and Paul Carberry were on fire with a Fairyhouse treble highlighted by the victory of dual bumper winner Dylan Ross in the New Tote Sports Lounge Maiden Hurdle.

The five-year-old suffered a final-flight fall when leading on his hurdling debut at Down Royal last December, but there were no such alarms on this occasion.

Carberry, always travelling well in mid-division, took closer order on the bend into the straight on the 4-5 favourite, who jumped ahead at the second-last before sauntering clear to win by three and a half lengths.

The jockey was just as cool on Goffs Land Rover Bumper winner Texas Jack who made it two from two with a cheeky victory on his jumps debut in the Visit www.fairyhouse.ie For Special Offers Maiden Hurdle.

The five-year-old (11-10 favourite) joined long-time leader Dynamic Approach at the final flight and was nudged ahead to score by a comfortable length and a quarter.< Leceile initiated the treble with an eyecatching performance to take the Admission Only 5euro Mares Maiden Hurdle.

Sent on from the start, the 4-1 shot had her rivals in trouble some way out and after stretching clear in the straight, she popped over the final flight to coast in by 11 lengths.

Pat Martin's Lucky Spring (8-1) defied top weight in the Fairyhouse Members Handicap Hurdle, the post coming just in time for Andrew Thornton as he held the surge of Akatara by half a length.

James Lambe's top-weight Knocklayde Vic (13-2) was always prominent in the first division of the Follow Us On Facebook Handicap Hurdle and was driven clear by Eddie O'Connell to score by four and a half lengths.

The second division went to James Motherway's Irish Soul (11-2), who took charge on the run to the second-last and powered away to win by six and a half lengths in the hands of Pat Mangan.
