The Grade Three Bar One Racing Price Boost Juvenile Hurdle at Fairyhouse on Sunday could afford Tom Mullins' Rock Chica with a chance to put a recent disappointing Punchestown performance in the past.

Owned by Mullins' wife, Helen, the Rock Of Gibraltar filly was impressive at Tipperary last month when landing her maiden hurdle by all of twenty six lengths.

Into a three-year-old winners of one then next time at Punchestown, Rock Chica went off a 22/1 chance, and despite her big odds the Doninga handler was expecting better than a well-beaten sixth of the eight.

He said: “Rock Chica might run in the Grade 3 juvenile hurdle on Sunday. She was very disappointing the last day and was two stone behind her Tipperary win.

“Maybe her palate slipped or she swallowed her tongue. Something caused her to run like that.

“There is no winners-of-one for three-year-olds until Christmas so if it cut up I might run her in it.”
