Fallon Looks Back On Ace Run

Kieren Fallon believes Ace would have given Breeders´ Cup Turf winner Shirocco 'a run for his money' if he had enjoyed luck in running.

Aidan O´Brien´s four-year-old, wearing a visor for the first time, came from off the pace but failed by a length and three-quarters to catch Andre Fabre´s charge, who benefited from a positive ride from Christophe Soumillon

'It was just unfortunate, I´ve gone on the turn and I wanted to go a bit sooner but I was just locked in for a stride and maybe if I´d got out I would have given the winner a run for his money,' Fallon told At The Races.

'Obviously the visor helped Ace. He´s a consistent horse - he´s been running big races in Group Ones all season.'
