Famous Name to face five in Meld Stakes The Dermot Weld trained Famous Name will face five rivals at Leopardstown tomorrow as he tries to win the Meld Stakes for the third successive year. Famous Name has won the Group 3 event in 2009 and 2010 and will bid to complete the hat-trick against five rivals, four of which the entire has never been beaten by the past. Neither Windsor Palace, Barack Defining Year or Native Khan has defeated Weld's charge in previous runs and with soft ground assured, an historic hat-trick looks likely. Pat Fahy's Ballybracka Lady, who has been out of action for almost a year, completes the line-up.
