Faoladh building Browne-Souza's experience Andy Slattery's Faoladh doubled his career total in the BOYLE Sports Extra Places Every Day Handicap over seven furlongs in Down Royal. The 5/1 favourite was always prominent and gave generously inside the final furlong to hit the front in the closing stages. He kept on well to put a length and a half on runner-up Shoot To Kill (6/1). Burford Beauty was backed down to 8/1 and was a nose further back in third. Jockey Adam Browne-Souza said: "Dropping back to seven (furlongs) and did it nicely. Just sat in, got a bit of cover, picked up and got home nicely. It has been a while coming for him. "I was third on him in Leopardstown the last day. "He's always kind of sharp out of the gates and I wasn't really worried about it (draw). I knew he would kick out well and I got a nice toe into it. "That's my seventh winner now. I'm gaining a lot of experience and I'm getting plenty of riding. I'm based with Andy Slattery full-time. I rode all their breezers this year which is a big help to my riding. "Tuesday was massive, mam's first runner and winner (Lamar Canyon at Dundalk). It was incredible."
