Fiesolana in shape for big targets Fiesolana had her first workout on Wednesday since her Matron Stakes triumph ahead of possible ambitious autumn targets. The five-year-old mare showed her well-being as she returned to serious exercise following her Group One victory at Leopardstown. Her trainer Willie McCreery is looking at the Qatar Prix de la Foret at Longchamp on Sunday week, while an entry has been gained for the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf at Santa Anita. "She's very good. She did her first bit of work this morning since the Matron and it went grand," said the County Kildare handler. "She's in the Foret and we've also entered her for the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf, as the Matron was a 'win and you're in' race."
