Fine profile excites Crawford The future is bright for Fine Rightly, according to trainer Stuart Crawford. A top bumper performer, the seven-year-old is really getting his act together over fences. Fine Rightly beat Rule The World in a Grade Three at Naas earlier this month but whether he runs again this spring depends on how quickly the ground dries up. "He's a proper winter horse," said Crawford. "There was a temptation to take him to Cheltenham this year but, in fairness, the ground would have been against him. "He's won a nice pot this season so even if the ground dries up now we can put him away for the season. "It's hard to know where his long-term future lies but there's plenty more improvement to come. "Early on next season I'd like to think he could win a decent handicap, or there's the race at Down Royal for second-season novices. "On winter ground he might not want three miles yet, but, in time, I'm sure he'll get it."
