Fire Lily with Group 3 options David Wachman is eyeing more Pattern-race prizes for Fire Lily following her narrow triumph in the Phoenix Sprint Stakes at the Curragh. The daughter of Dansili disappointed on her penultimate start in the July Cup at Newmarket but bounced back to form with victory at Group Three level. "She came out of her race fine and we have her in a couple of Group Three races coming up," said the trainer. "We'll decide where we're going closer to the time as when you keep running them on soft ground, it's hard to know how much they're taking out of themselves. "We'll tread a little bit carefully, but she's in good form and I don't really have a specific target for her."
