Flashy Wings misses Moyglare

Flashy Wings will miss the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday and is likely to head straight to the Sky Bet Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket later this month.

Mick Channon´s filly, who has won each of her four starts, has been withdrawn from this weekend´s Group One contest at the request of her owner Jaber Abdullah.

'Mr Jaber Abdullah would prefer her to go fresh to the Cheveley Park Stakes,' said Bruce Reynolds, racing manager to Jaber Abdullah.

'She´s in good shape and is breathing well, but the bottom line is that Mr Abdullah wants her to go straight to Newmarket.

'She´s still in the Sales Race at Newbury later in the month and it´s always on the cards, but we imagine she´ll go direct to the Cheveley.'

The daughter of Zafonic, currently the ante-post favourite for next season´s 1000 Guineas, was last seen winning the Group Two Lowther Stakes at York in August having landed the Queen Mary at the Royal meeting on her previous outing.
