Pat Flynn and Robyn Donaghue-Leahy continued a fine run of form when Carrigans Grove edged the verdict in the 0-60 handicap over seven furlongs at Dundalk.

The Churchill filly came to dispute a furlong out and got the verdict by a head at the line from Final Boss in the centre.

It was a fifth winner in the space of 12 days for the pair.

Donaghue-Leahy said: "She deserved that. Her last three runs have been super, in fairness to her. She's probably too genuine as she was flat out over six (furlongs).

"We said we would step her up today. I was probably there earlier than I would have liked, but once you get going with her you don't want to stop her.

"I didn't think I was up, but she stuck her little head out and she always does. I was delighted to see my name on the screen coming back in.

"I didn't think there would be much pace, and I planned to be handy, and then they swung along and I said I better stay there. It suited her down to the ground, she just gallops and gallops.

"He (Flynn) deserves it, we had plenty of seconds during the year, and he puts all the time and money he can into his horses. He does a great job with them."
