Frankel's full brother impresses at Newbury Frankel's full-brother Noble Mission was a taking winner of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships Maiden Stakes at Newbury yesterday afternoon. Second on his only start at two, the Henry Cecil-trained colt wore a hood for the first time here and was always travelling strongly under Tom Queally. The 3/1 favourite was in front a furlong out and stretched out well on the soft ground to beat Dream Tune by three-and-three-quarter lengths. Captain Cat was a further five lengths adrift in third. Others to catch the eye in behind included Gold Show, On My Own and the strong-travelling Dick Bos. Sky Bet cut the winner to 25's from 40's for the Investec Derby with Coral more impressed and they offer 20-1. Cecil said: "For a mile and a quarter horse that was a good performance. I wanted to start him over a mile on this ground, and he's won very nicely. I don't want to say anything silly, so I will just feel my way at the moment." Of the decision to put a hood on the colt, the trainer explained: "I've had them handmade in the Czech Republic, they have got foam rubber in the ears and I used them on three fillies last year that were a bit scatty. "He won't have to wear it all the time because he is getting more relaxed."
