Further significant rain in Killarney The four day Killarney Festival meeting gets underway this evening and the going looks set to be extremely testing following a further 20mm of rain overnight. The ground is now described as heavy and, while the track is raceable, the situation is being monitored by officials. The highlight on day one is the Listed Vincent O'Brien Ruby Stakes, with a field of nine going to post including the likes of Rock Critic and Custom Cut. The first on a seven race all Flat card is scheduled for 4.55pm.
