< Creggs Pipes has been a revelation this year and continued on her merry way with victory in the COLM QUINN BMW Mile Handicap at Galway.

Andy Slattery's filly has rocketed up the handicap since starting her winning spree in May but punters still came for her and she went off the 11-2 favourite.

Declan McDonogh bounced her out into an early lead and she didn't see another horse from there on in, beating the staying-on Top Notch Tonto by a length and three-quarters to complete a fabulous four-timer.

McDonogh was also in the saddle when 11-4 favourite Beau Satchel repeated last year's victory in the Caulfield Industrial Handicap.< Penhill bounced back to form to lead home a Willie Mullins one-two in the COLM QUINN BMW Novice Hurdle.

Just 12 days on from a disappointing Killarney display, which was attributed to burst blood vessels, the 8-1 chance came from the rear in the hands of Ruby Walsh to collar stable companion Master Of Verse and prevail by half a length.

Mullins and Walsh had to settle for second in the Latin Quarter Beginners Chase when Briar Hill couldn't quite peg back Talk The Lingo

The 2013 Champion Bumper hero seemed to be treading water when jumping the last with several rivals still in front of him, but he responded well to Walsh's urgings, only for the line to come just in time for 66-1 outsider Talk The Lingo.< Eziyra was backed as if defeat was out of the question in the COLM QUINN BMW EBF Fillies Maiden and got the job done with the minimum of fuss.

Pat Smullen had to sit a little bit wide on the Dermot Weld-trained 2-5 favourite but took it up on the home turn and stretched a couple of lengths clear of Hydrangea

Weld and Smullen followed up 35 minutes later when Sikandarabad defied a lengthy layoff to justify 10-11 favouritism in the Caulfield Industrial EBF Maiden, while Water Sprite won the Caulfieldindustrial.com Handicap for Gordon Elliott.
