< Vastonea and Brendan Brackan have won the last three Topaz Mile Handicaps between them and return to Galway for another crack at Tuesday's feature.

Vastonea regained the crown she lost to Brendan Brackan in 2013 12 months ago but has been out of sorts this campaign, as had Brendan Brackan until he offered a bit more encouragement when third to Carla Bianca in the Meld Stakes at Leopardstown just under a couple of weeks ago.< Chopin hasn't come up to scratch since leaving Germany but joins Brendan Brackan, Lat Hawill Third Dimension and Unsinkable in giving Ger Lyons a strong team.< Baraweez struck at last year's meeting and Brian Ellison brings him back, while Dermot Weld's Stay De Night has headed the ante-post lists and is open to plenty of improvement.

Weld starts Waaheb off over fences in the Latin Quarter Beginners Chase and he takes on fellow classy hurdlers Guitar Pete and Steps To Freedom in an excellent contest.

The master of Rosewell relies on Tipperary third Simannka in the Topaz EBF Fillies Maiden, but this threw up a Classic winner when Legatissimo struck last season and her handler David Wachman sends Sing For Me this time, although she has a little bit of ground to make up on Siamsaiocht and Kind Of Magic from their Curragh meeting.< Valac is a half-brother to Free Eagle, Sapphire and Custom Cut and while he probably won't match the standards achieved by those top-notchers, Weld will understandably be disappointed if he can't get off the mark in the Caulfieldindustrial.com EBF Maiden.

The action gets under way at 5.15 with the Topaz Novice Hurdle, in which Long Dog strives to confirm the strong impression he made when registering a bloodless Sligo triumph.

His handler Willie Mullins has the top-weight Daneking in the Caulfieldindustrial.com Handicap, while the Denis Hogan-trained Burren View Lady goes to post for the Caulfield Industrial Athone Handicap just six days on from a Naas triumph.
