Gilligan outlines long-term Galway Hurdle plan for Kings Hill Paul Gilligan has outlined a Galway Hurdle plan for Kings Hill who finshed ninth in the Supreme at the Cheltenham Festival. The Kingston Hill gelding was successful in a Thurles maiden hurdle on his penultimate start and could take in Aintree next after his Prestbury Park run. Gilligan said: "Kings Hill ran a really good race in the Supreme as the ground was gone for him. He wants good, proper nice ground and he ran a good race to be beaten just 15 lengths in a Grade 1, first time.  "He might go to Aintree if the ground is nice and my long-term plan is maybe to get him into the Galway Hurdle off a light weight. I think it would suit him lovely and he is no slouch of a horse." Additional reporting by Tom Weekes
