Glenfinn set for Thurles Grade Two Tom Taaffe, who tragically lost Slim Pickings at the weekend, is hoping for a change of luck when his Glenfinn Captain lines up for the Thurles' Grade 2 MacLochlainn Road Markings Ltd Kinloch Brae Chase on Thursday. "The plan is for Glenfinn Captain to go to Thurles all being well," said Taaffe. "He ran a respectable race in the Lexus but he was a bit disappointing in my own personal view. I'm happy with the horse at the moment so I think we'll probably let him take his chance. Obviously he is dropping back to two and a half miles from three, but I don't really have an opinion on what his best trip is."
