Godolphin out in force on Super Thursday

Godolphin have declared a total of 18 runners for today's Super Thursday meeting at Meydan.

The feature is the Group 2 Al Maktoum Challenge Round Three and Godolphin are represented by four runners in the 1m2f contest on Tapeta.

Saeed bin Suroor has declared Prince Bishop, while Etched, Eavesdropper and the former John Gosden trained, Debussy, line up for Mahmood Al Zarooni.

Saeed bin Suroor has a strong hand in the Group 2 Jebel Hatta with Queen Elizabeth II Stakes winner Poet's Voice declared alongside stable-companion Shakespearean.

A trio of Mahmood Al Zarooni-trained horses are set to take their place in the Group 2 Dubai City Of Gold on the turf over 1m4f - these being Calvados Blues, Monterosso and Simon De Montfort.

Mendip, who was the impressive winner of Round One of the Al Maktoum Challenge at Meydan on January 13, takes his chance for Saeed bin Suroor alongside stable-companion Sangaree in the Group 3 Burj Nahaar over a mile on Tapeta.

Godolphin will also be represented in the Group 3 Mahab Al Shimaal over six furlongs on Tapeta.

Global City and Bank Merger represent Saeed bin Suroor while Mahmood Al Zarooni has declared Rileyskeepingfaith and the reserve Take Ten.

Borug (Saeed bin Suroor) and Bridgefield (Mahmood Al Zarooni) contest the Listed Al Bastakiya Stakes over an extended 1m1f on Tapeta, and Everyday Heroes runs in Thursday's remaining thoroughbred contest, a five-furlong Tapeta conditions race.
