Going and weather updates The ground at Naas is now soft following 7mm of rain since declarations. It's set to be mainly dry this morning, but heavy rain and strong winds are forecast to move in late this afternoon with the possibility of up to 20mm (approx) of rain. The first of eight Flat races gets under way at 1.10. Cork largely missed yesterday's rain and the ground remains good to yielding on both tracks after just 1mm overnight. It's set to be a wet afternoon there, too, with a possible 15-20mm (approx) of rain during racing. An eight-race jumps card begins at 1.20. Looking ahead to Gowran's Flat meeting on Tuesday, it's soft at the moment. Heavy rain is forecast today today with up to 16mm (approx), and it will be mainly dry thereafter.
