Going update There are two Sunday meeting scheduled this weekend, with Downpatrick having to pass a 7.30am inspection before their fixture. Downpatrick's Saturday card was cancelled as heavy thunder showers caused the course to be unfit to race and, as a result, officials are inspecting tomorrow morning ahead of Sunday's fixture. Gowran stages a Flat card on Sunday, with the first of seven races due to start at 1.55pm. Kilbeggan stages a national hunt meeting on Monday where the going is currently good to yielding following 22mm of rain since entries were made. There is a possibility of 3-5mm of rain today but it is forecast to be mainly dry thereafter. The course is to monitor rainfall, with regard to watering the course if it is required.
