Watering continues as temperatures are set to soar once again in both the UK and Ireland today.

The going is good to firm ahead of day two of Royal Ascot after 5mm of watering was put on the Berkshire track yesterday evening.

The Prince Of Wales's Stakes is the undoubted highlight this afternoon with the likes of Jack Hobbs and Highland Reel going to post in the Group 1 at 4.20pm.

The action gets underway at 2.30pm with the Jersey Stakes, while the Queen Mary Stakes and Duke Of Cambridge Stakes are other Group races on the card.

The domestic action is at Wexford this evening where watering is also taking place to maintain the going at good.

The Flood Ironworks Handicap Chase is the feature, with the first on a seven-race jumps card beginning at 6pm.
