Horses still in search of soft ground will be accommodated on Saturday at Cork where a further 2mm of rain fell overnight.

The going at the Mallow venue is currently soft (soft to heavy in places) on the hurdle course, while the chase track is soft to heavy.

The forecast is mainly dry over the next few days.

Clonmel also hosts a jumps card next Thursday, although the two chase races will now take place on the outer track and not as previously advertised in the calendar.

The going is at present described as soft on the hurdle course and yielding to soft on the chase course.

Racing also takes place on the all-weather at Dundalk tomorrow evening with an eight-race card beginning at 5pm, while the Grade 1 Lawlor's Of Naas Novice Hurdle is the weekend highlight at Naas on Sunday.
