Thankfully no problems with fog at the moment at Thurles ahead of their seven-race card which starts at 12.25pm. It was a dry night, but the track is frost-free this morning with the ground described as soft.

That’s also the description at Fairyhouse for their big two-day meeting at the weekend. The forecast is for mainly dry weather and there’s fresh ground available on both tracks for both Saturday and Sunday.

Limerick race on their main track next Tuesday and the going is heavy. The forecast is mainly dry but there is a possibility of 6-9mm (approx.) of rain prior to racing.

It’s also heavy at Clonmel ahead of next Thursday’s meeting. The weather is set to remain mainly dry and to get slightly milder into next week.
