Two millimetres of rain since 8am yesterday sees the ground at Leopardstown remain soft on the hurdle and bumper track and yielding on the chase track.

The inside three sections on the hurdle track are fresh today with cool generally dry conditions expected at the Foxrock venue.

The top level events, the Matheson Hurdle at 2.25 and the Neville Hotels Novice Chase at 1.50 headline proceedings on a 7-race programme.

Action is set to commence at 12.05 for the final day of the Christmas festival.

Meanwhile following 2mm of rain in the last 24 hours the ground at Limerick (today and tomorrow) remains heavy.

It's expected to be mainly dry with the possibility of light showers at Greenmount Park today. The first of seven is due off at 11.55.
