The ground at Naas is heavy and parts of the track remain unfit for racing ahead of Wednesday’s rescheduled meeting.

Temperatures are due to rise again today and there will be further updates regarding the state of the ground in due course.

Fairyhouse will inspect at 1.00pm ahead of tomorrow’s rescheduled meeting and hopefully the rising temperature will enable the go-ahead for that eight-race card due to start at 11.50pm.

Across the water, Hereford passed an early morning inspection and, along with Doncaster, will provide jumping action today while there’s all-weather racing at Wolverhampton and domestically at Dundalk (first of eight races at 2.30pm).
