Gaillard Du Mesnil, who was last seen winning the Grade 1 champion novice hurdle at the Punchestown Festival, is scheduled to make his debut over fences in the beginners' chase at 2pm. Elsewhere, the going at Navan is Yielding to Soft before Saturday's card which features a Grade B handicap hurdle and a Listed bumper. Fresh ground will be in use on the hurdle track. Again, mainly dry weather is expected. Thurles reports its ground to be Good, Good to Yielding in places (on chase course) and Good to Yielding (on hurdle/bumper courses). Sunday's card includes a Listed mares' novices' hurdle. Dry weather is expected.
