Goldikova beaten by Immortal Verse in Deauville Coronation Stakes winner Immortal Verse showed an impressive turn of foot to beat Goldikova in the Prix Jacques Le Marois at Deauville on Monday. Robert Collet's three-year-old filly was at the back of the field for the majority of the Group One contest but swept to the front along the inside rail under Gerald Mosse. Goldikova couldn't quite match the winner's turn of foot in the heavy ground and just edged out Sahpresa in a photo for second, with Immortal Verse clear of the pair at the line.
