Gonzo does the business for Aherne Twice a winner over hurdles, Oneforgonzo recorded his first win over fences the Dan Linehan's Handicap Steeplechase at Killarney. The  Dylan Thomas gelding, backed from 6/1 into 7/2 before the off, was patiently handled by Sean O'Keefee in the two mile, four furlong-contest.  Along with Sophia Rose, he moved to the head of affairs two out and got the better of that rival on the run-in to score by half a length. Winning trainer Sean Aherne said "He turned in like the winner in Down Royal in January, and again in Thurles the last day you'd have thought 'how far?', but he didn't follow through either day. "It was nice today that he had another horse to take him all the way, and the better ground and distance suited.
