Following dry and warm days since Thursday the Curragh is now good on the straight course and good, good to firm in places, on the round track.

It's set to be mainly dry today with the slight possibility of isolated showers.

The weather is to turn unsettled into next week.

Officials are monitoring the forecast with regard to watering.

The three day Irish Derby meeting starts on Friday evening.

The Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby takes place next Sunday and Epsom winner Lambourn is currently trading at 4/5 to complete the double.
