Great Endeavour suffers fatal injury Paddy Power Gold Cup winner Great Endeavour has suffered a fatal injury while on his summer break. The eight-year-old won the high-profile Cheltenham handicap last November and was also victorious at the 2010 Cheltenham Festival for trainer David Pipe. Pipe tweeted: "V sad news that P Power Gold Cup winner Great Endeavour has suffered a fatal injury while on his summer holidays in a field at Timmy Murphys."
