Greenlands next up for Dandy Boy The David Marnane trained Dandy Boy is on target to return in the Weatherbys Ireland Greenlands Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday. The seven-year-old has been a real money-spinner for connections and is again being targeted at Royal Ascot, where he won the Wokingham Handicap last year. Marnane's charge has a liking for Ascot, having won the valuable Victoria Cup in 2010, and is this year being prepared for the Diamond Jubilee Stakes. He was last seen running in Dubai in March, and in September was beaten less then three lengths when fourth to Society Rock in the Haydock Sprint Cup. Speaking on www.davidmarnaneracing.co , the trainer said: "We are pleased with his work on the gallops and he went well in a racecourse gallop at Dundalk last week. "The Greenland Stakes will be Dandy Boy's prep for the Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot next month."
