Ground eases at Clonmel Following 1mm of rain overnight the ground has eased slightly at Clonmel. It is now soft, soft to heavy in places on the hurdle track and soft on the chase course. The weather is set to be mild and breezy with patchy light rain today. Punchestown is good to yielding ahead of the weekend action while the cross country course is good. Light rain is forecast tonight and tomorrow morning but it is set to be mainly dry thereafter. Limerick race on their inside track on Tuesday and it's currently soft, yielding to soft in places. Heavy showers are forecast in the next 48 hours (15mm) and it is mainly dry thereafter. The ground at Thurles is yielding, good to yielding in places ahead of next Thursday. It's an unsettled forecast during the second half of next week with 10-15mm (approx) of rain prior to racing.
