Ground eases at Down Royal The ground has eased at Down Royal ahead of their Ladbrokes Champion Chase meeting this afternoon. It is now soft, heavy in places on the hurdle track while the chase course is soft, soft to heavy in places following 7mm of rain in the last 24 hours. The forecast is for a mainly dry day today at the northern track where the feature event goes to post at 2.25pm.
