The going remains yielding on both the hurdle and chase tracks ahead of day two of the Dublin Racing Festival at Leopardstown following 3mm of rain overnight.

Clerk of the Course Lorcan Wyer said, “Both the hurdle and chase tracks were watered overnight and watering is on-going this morning in an effort to maintain the ground at yielding.

“There is a fresh five yards of ground on the hurdle track today.

“The forecast is generally dry today. It will again be breezy but the winds won’t be as strong as yesterday.”

The eight-race card with four Grade 1 events including the Paddy Power Irish Gold Cup gets underway at 12.55, with the feature at 3.30.
