Harry's Hill just the tonic for recovering Hassett Turned out again quickly after finishing fourth in the Rockingham at the Curragh on Sunday, Harry's Hill (3/1) led home four rivals in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Race. Despite having plenty to find on ratings with 1/2 favourite Sir Yoshi, the Martin Hassett-trained victor was pushed along to lead from the furlong pole and kept on well when ridden, ultimately coming home a length to the good. Registering a ninth career success, the Heeraat seven-year-old was ridden to victory by Wayne Hassett, a grand-nephew of the successful handler. Ridden with just under two-furlongs to go, the aforementioned market leader kept on close home to take second, with the front-running Eclairage (8/1) a neck back in third. "He's won nine times and won over E160,000 and only cost E12,000. He's a star horse and every year he pulls something out of the bag," Hassett enthused. "He just dipped his head as the gate opened in the Rockingham. We wouldn't have beaten the winner, but he still ran a great race. "For a small yard like ours he's bringing us to places we wouldn't normally be going. "He was second in the Joe McGrath last year at the Curragh and we could aim for that again. "We've tried him over six and he didn't get home so we'll stick to five. "20 days ago I had a triple heart bypass so that is better than any medication." Additional reporting by Alan Magee
